Become a buddy today and support a disabled person to live the life they choose

A new scheme in Bromley is looking to match volunteers with like minded disabled people for fun, social activities and practical support…

“Buddies for All” is supported with funding from the Bromley Innovation Fund, financed by Bromley Council and NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group for trialling new and different ways of supporting Bromley residents…

Looking for a rewarding and fun volunteer role?

Buddies for All CIC are looking for volunteers in Bromley borough to become “buddies” for disabled adults aged 18-65.

Buddies will be matched via phone, online and/or face to face activities.

David Bourroughs from Buddies for All…

We’ll be running speed matching events for volunteers and disabled people plus a mix of group and individual events and outings. People will be able to join in as much as they wish and in between times, arrange their own activities according to shared interests.

Face to face activities might be going for coffee, a walk or maybe cinema trips, sporting events… whatever people want to do.

We’re really hoping to bring some joy and fun as well as much needed social and wellbeing support for both service users and volunteer buddies.

A fun way to meet new people, share interests and develop support networks in the community.
