I have over 25 years’ experience of working in the advice and social care setting. Starting out as a volunteer my roles have included that of an Adviser, Caseworker in Welfare Benefits, Employment and Debt attending tribunals and representing those most in need. My other roles have been those of a Superviser, Recruitment and Training as well as a Freelance Tutor. I have worked as a Chief Officer since 2009 working in the City of London and in the London Borough of Bromley.
In these roles, I have developed a broad overview of the advice and voluntary sector and have experience in change management alongside proven leadership skills and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders including strategic leaders and service users.
I became a Director of Bromley Third Sector Enterprise CIO (BTSE) in 2017 and since its inception as a charity in 2020 I am now a Trustee. I am passionate about the power and difference that the right information, advice and guidance can make to peoples’ lives and I have witnessed first-hand through the Bromley Well Service how great partnership working can help organisations work together for the greater benefit of those in need.
