I joined BTSE as Chair of Trustees when it became a Charity in November 2020.
I started working life as an Engineer, moved into general management and on retirement from full time work took on various non-executive roles in the NHS, a Housing Association and several charities including chairing Age UK where I oversaw the merger of Age UK Bromley and Age UK Greenwich.
In addition to my role at BTSE, I’m a governor at a Bromley Primary School and until 2023, a member of the Bromley Regional Ethics Committee which considers the Ethical aspects of Health Research.
I have a broad interest in maintaining services to people in Bromley who use them and I have a particular interest in finding ways in which improvements can be made.
In my spare time I sing bass with the London Concert Choir and enjoy spending time with my family.
